Market Deeping recorded their first Lincs Premier Division win of the season on Saturday thanks to their terrific teenage talent.

Deeping demolished Grimsby by 162 runs at Outgang Road to open their account in style. Alex Wheatley (19) top scored with 85 in their 241-8 before 16-year-old fast bowling prospect Patrick Brown (4-28) terrorised the top of the Grimsby batting order.

The visitors were soon in trouble against the pace of Brown and Tom Andrews (2-19) and were finally shot out for just 87.
