Funhouse Comedy Club brings another great night of laughter to the Grainstore Brewery in Oakham on Thursday (February 25).
Headlining the night is producer, director, writer and comic Bennett Arron. The only Jewish/Welsh comedian on the circuit. A trained actor he takes command of the stage and his humour veers between obsessed anxiety and natural occurrences, with his contagious laugh he lights up any room.
Supporting will be the intelligent and likeable Nick Doody. Very popular on the comedy circuit he also writes for many popular TV comedy shows. His perceptive wit and sharp retorts are delivered with mesmerizing warmth.
Also appearing is the unique duo Brian Damage and Krysstal. Very popular on the comedy circuit with their unconventional vaudeville-style act, their sometimes bawdy humour is punctuated by silly songs, dancing and plenty of jokes. The combination is very funny and definitely something that you won’t forget.
Compere for the night is the quirky James Dowdeswell who has appeared on such TV shows as Russell Howard’s Good News, Celebrity Deal Or No Deal and who also played The Count in Ricky Gervais’ Extras.
Tickets are £7.50 in advance and are available online.
Doors open at 6.15pm, for the show at 8.15pm. Last orders for food at 7.15pm.
